Caldwell Blind Man's Bluff Chico White Toro Deluxe (brand new release)
Origin: Dominican Republic (Manufactura Rivas) Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Binder: Dominican Republic Filler: Dominican Republic long-filler This is the second release of three from Robert Caldwell; moving away from Tabacalera Ventura due to the factory being burnt to the ground September '22. On paper all three cigars are the same blend; however as production was moved to Chico's factory the tobaccos are different in terms of fermentation and age. So, this is a uniquely different cigar from the original Ventura-release. First cigar of the day for sure! ( plenty more in stock )
Crowned Heads Yellow Rose BP Torpedo (2022 Vintage)
Origin: Nicaragua (My Father Cigars) Wrapper: USA Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro Binder: Nicaraguan Filler: Nicaraguan Part of the Crowned Heads regional releases; the Yellow Rose is an exclusive Texas regional release; made by My Father Cigars in Nicaragua. They have not been released since 2019 due to a lack of quality USA Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. Bold, but medium-bodied; the cigar brings flavours of cinnamon, leather, ground coffee, vanilla beans and orange citrus. HVC Hot Cake Golden Line Laguito #5 (brand new release)
Origin: Nicaragua (Fábrica de Tabacos HVC S.A. de Reinier Lorenzo) Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade Binder: Nicaraguan Filler: Nicaraguan (Esteli & Jalapa) Just released and already in HEMINGWAY; I love this cigar - having smoked a few too many since they arrived. Medium (not mild as Joe "The Hammer" rated it); these are a fantastic after dinner and I've got too much work to do but still need to sleep tonight cigar! The old phrase "not your father's Connecticut" has been used to death, but for a bloody good reason. This Connecticut has body, weight and flavour; without cracking skulls! La Barba Knockaround Toro 650 (2022 Vintage)
Origin: Dominican Republic (Tabacalera William Ventura) Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Binder: Dominican Republic Habano Filler: Dominican Republic This Habano-heavy Toro was rolled in 2021, released in 2022. Medium-bodied, this will cure any Habano cravings that is for sure. A perfect first cigar of the day in my books.
