Now for a little about each cigar from the Hemingway team!
Caldwell Lost & Found Plume FTFB
The most desired Lost & Found release...
The whole "Lost & Found" concept by Robert Caldwell, Jacyln Sears & Tony Bellatto has been around since 2014; basically they visit soo many cigar factories big & small that they spot "project" cigars or "cancelled private label" cigars and snap them up.
Heck, I just landed 100 "cancelled private label" Toro's that were made by Regius for a high-end customer who walked away from the order... they're out there...
Anyway, I digress... the Plume we have is the Robusto, rolled many years ago using an undisclosed Dominican wrapper over a Criollo '98 binder (tasty!) with Habano 2020 & Corojo fillers.
All up, a sensational and very enjoyable cigar!
Caldwell Middle Eastern Standard My Kebab is Juicy
Another never-released Caldwell just for us...
This is a small Piramide like the Herrera Esteli lines; rolled back in 2019 using Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper.
A fantastic late-afternoon relaxer if you ask me!
Drew Estate Undercrown Sun Grown Dojo Dogma
The "King of the Undercrown"
Lets face it, its a bloody tough call between all three of the Undercrown lines (oh, now four) - for me it just totally comes down to the time of the day and my mood a to which I want to enjoy.
Shade, Maduro, Sun Grown and now of course the "10".
Did you know the Sun Grown is currently the highest-rated Undercrown? Says something about that amazing wrapper doesn't it.
So along comes Cigar Dojo and the good folks at Drew Estate created a special vitola (size) just for them, the Dogma... purely superb - one not to be rushed!
Drew Estate Undercrown Maduro ShadyXX
The 2020-release
These are another superb limited-edition of the Undercrown line like the Dogma; both of which have been resting in our humidor since early last year.
That ever tasty Mexican San Andres wrapper over the unique Connecticut Salk-Cut Habano binder incasing the Nicarguan and Brazilian Mata Fina fillers; a truly tasty beast!
In fact we demolished these on Tuesday night, another perfect "last cigar of the night" if you ask me!
