NZ's Subscription Cigar Clubs!
Ever wished you could just get new and amazing cigars delivered to your door each month without having to even place an order?
Well, you can.
New Zealand has two subscription based cigar clubs. Hemingway - the premium offering, and Passionados - the more budget friendly option.
You may well have seen our posts about the Hemingway shipments (if not you can see them all here)
That will give you an idea of the calibre of the cigars you will receive in the premium Hemingway offering.
Grant from Canteros (the person who makes both clubs happen) goes to great lengths to secure some amazing and often very rare cigars to send out to club members. But its not just cigars you will get either. Cigar Journal magazine is a common addition to the shipment and on special occasions. such as the Hemingway Clubs anniversary, Things like cigar stands, cutters and even the odd can of beer!
Hemingway is an annual subscription, you need to sign up for a 12 month block. And due to the rarity of some of the cigars there is a club limit so its first come first served.
Every month you will receive cigars to the value of your monthly subscription (typically 4 to 5 cigars); they come from our exclusive HEMINGWAY selection of rare and aged cigars; as well as the latest released cigars in the free-world.
As I type this - There are currently spots available! - but if you're interested, then get at it as this is rare and there is even often waiting lists.
PASSIONADOS is a casual subscription, so you can come and go as you please. And the design of this club is a 'cigar for every Saturday' meaning that the number of cigars you get each month depends on the number of Saturdays in that block (usually 4-5)
The cigars in the Passionados packs are more readily available, however there has been a good few hard to get ones over the years.
TOP TIP!
If possible, join both.. one of the most awesome parts for me is that Hemingway ships on the 1st of every month, and Passionados ships on the 15th of every month. Meaning that if you join both, you get two deliveries of cigars a month without having to do anything! (other than pay the invoice when it arrives haha)
