Each month we receive a selection of the best, hand chosen, cigars delivered to our door via Hemingway. This is what we got this month!

Alec & Bradley Kintsugi Toro

Origin: Honduras (Raices Cubanas factory) Wrapper: Honduran Trojes Binder: Double Nicaraguan & Honduran Trojes region Filler: Nicaraguan & Honduran longfiller tobaccos

This medium-strength new release from Alec & Bradley Rubin is their third release inspired by fifteenth century Japanese art.

Alec &Bradley are giving their dad (Alan Rubin of Alec Bradley) a run for his money with Kintsugi.

Bold flavors flow from its smoke via a Honduran wrapper grown in the Trojes region. Plus, there are twin binders from Honduras and Nicaragua from the Trojes region that complement long fillers of the same locales.

Notes of citrus, a woody sweetness, and plenty of brawny spices on the finish. It’s clear that their apple hasn’t fallen far from the AB tree!

Origin: Nicaragua (Fábrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua S.A.) Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Binder: Mexican San Andres Negro Filler: Pipe tobacco long filler

Each cigar is wrapped in a spicy Ecuador Habano, a Mexican San Andres binder, and varying fillers.

Aromatic No.1 is laced with Black Cavendish, Golden Virginia, and Burley – along with Nicaraguan longfillers.

English No.27 is a blend of Burly and Turkish tobaccos, and bold Cypriot Latakia leaves among its Nicaraguan primings.

Bayou No.32 is lavished with Red Virginia, Bright, and St. James Parish Perique for unique flavors around a Nicaraguan core.

Finally, Navy No.1056 is stuffed with Red and Golden Virginia tobaccos and a mixture of Oriental, Latakia, and dark, air-cured tobaccos.

Each blend is medium-bodied and is crafted to gift premium cigar smokers with a pipe-like experience in a familiar, more comfortable format. And with the cigar world already abuzz with this new Saka offering, we wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t last long. Espinosa Laranja Reserva Escuro

Origin: Nicaragua (La Zona/A.J. Fernandez) Wrapper: Brazilian Mata Fina Binder: Nicaraguan Filler: Nicaraguan longfiller tobaccos

This was Erik's follow-up to the infamous Laranja Reserva (orange cigar) - moving it up a notch with Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper adding a sweeter, tangier and spicier finish.

Binder and filler are all Nicaraguan bringing a nice hint of pepper.

Plasencia Reserva 1898 Robusto

Origin: Nicaragua (Plasencia) Wrapper: Nicaraguan Corojo Binder: Honduran Filler: Nicaraguan longfiller tobaccos

Plasencia Reserva 1898 vaunts its goodness in every way. The leaves are derived from the finest tobaccos grown in Nicaragua and Honduras by the Plasencia family.

The result is a full-flavoured delight, with chocolate notes hitting the palate at first. This flavour profile is laced with hints of walnut, dried figs and leather, followed by subtle notes of pepper.

Table 36 Peacemaker The Judge

Origin: Nicaragua (Plasencia) Wrapper: Nicaraguan Maduro Binder: Brazilian Mata Fina Filler: Honduran (Jamastran, Azcualpa) & Nicaraguan (Jalapa) longfiller tobaccos

Originally released in 2014, The Peacemaker is a tribute to great Westerns and the likes of Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne & Clint Eastwood.

An overly exaggerated exploded shaggy foot gives way to a luscious Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper (be warned, the first inch will drop everywhere).

An epic cigar and thanks to all of you who joined myself and Mike on the last vHERF for 2021!
