Each month we receive a selection of the best, hand chosen, cigars delivered to our door via Hemingway. This is what we got this month!

Crowned Heads Le Careme Canonazo

Origin: Dominican Republic (Tabacalera La Alianza, E.P. Carrillo) Wrapper: USA Connecticut Broadleaf Binder: Ecuadorian Sumatra Filler: Nicaraguan longfiller This is what most consider to be one-half of the La Coalicion cigar that you received last month; the Le Careme is considered to be the "chocolate souffle" cigar. Absolutely one of the most amazing cigars blended and available today; luscious chocolate notes are very pronounced. An absolutely fantastic last cigar of the night; or the perfect "after dinner" cigar. [ Want more - there's a healthy stock of these rare cigars still in stock ]

Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Connecticut Toro

Origin: Nicaragua (San Lotano Factory, A.J. Fernandez) Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut Binder: Nicaraguan Filler: Nicaraguan longfiller This is a collaboration cigar with celebrity chef Guy Fieri; it is named the Knuckle Sandwich which is Guy Fieri's catch-phrase. The Ecuadorian Connecticut is the third-release in this line and comes from A.J. Fernandez's San Lotano Factory which Erik Espinosa is managing for A.J. The wrapper is golden-brown in colour and the cigar is a perfect, smooth Connecticut that we've all grown to love. Overall its a solid-medium strength cigar packing loads of flavour. [ There are a dozen leftover from HEMINGWAY, drop me a line if you want some more ]

Punch Golden Era Toro

Origin: Honduras (JRE Tobacco Company) Wrapper: Honduran Corojo Binder: Honduran Corojo Filler: Honduran Corojo & Habano Made and blended by Julio & Justo Eiroa; father and brother of Christian Eiroa at their family-owned cigar factory in Honduras for STG. Infamous for their production of Corojo tobacco; this is a heavy Corojo cigar; still light and flavoursome; it is masterfully blended. The "Golden Era" name pays homage to the key role Corojo tobacco played in shaping that period (which ran from the late 1800s to the early 1900s). [ There are a handful of these left in stock here ]

Rocky Patel Sixty Toro

Origin: Nicaragua (Tabacalera Villa Cuba S.A., Rocky's factory) Wrapper: Mexican San Andres Maduro Binder: Nicaraguan Filler: Nicaraguan longfiller The No.2 Cigar of the Year for Cigar Aficionado last year and also No.3 Cigar of the Year for Cigar Journal. The Sixty by Rocky Patel was created to celebrate Rocky Patel's 60th birthday and (obviously) share his passion for great cigars. Full-bodied and full strength; all the tobaccos have been aged a minimum of 6-years and the cigars themselves sit (sat) for a full 2-years after being rolled. Decadent to say the least... and yes, I've smoked quite a few since they arrived! [ Want some more - plenty in stock here ]
