Each month we receive a selection of the best, hand chosen, cigars delivered to our door via Hemingway. This is what we got this month!

Alec Bradley New York Robusto (2010 Vintage)

Origin: Honduras (Fabrica de Tabacos Raices Cubanas) Wrapper: Criollo '98 (Honduran) Binder: Criollo '98 (Honduran) Filler: Honduran & Nicaraguan long-filler

These were rolled in 2010 by Raices Cubanas for Alan Rubin, who has used the Raices Cubanas factory for many decades.

Using Criollo '98 for both the wrapper and binder makes this an especially tasty cigar; both of these tobaccos come from the Trojes region of Honduras.

Now with 13-years of age, they have mellowed and smoothed out quite considerably; but here's your chance to taste a cigar rolled over a decade ago; as opposed to a relatively new cigar that has vintage tobaccos.

What is the difference - essentially with this cigar the entire blend has had 13 years tightly squeezed together to blend and mellow-out together; whereas a new cigar with aged tobacco has not yet had the chance to combine the flavours as such.

Caldwell Blind Man's Bluff Ventura Toro Deluxe (new release)

Origin: Dominican Republic (Tabacalera William Ventura) Wrapper: Ecuadorian Habano Binder: Dominican Republic Filler: Dominican Republic long-filler The latest release from Caldwell is the Blind Man's Bluff Ventura Toro Deluxe made by William Ventura. This is the first of three new 'cabinet' releases from Caldwell for the Blind Man's Bluff line. These were rolled in 2022 before the William Ventura factory was destroyed by fire. ( plenty more in stock )

Camacho Triple Maduro Toro (2020)

Origin: Honduras Wrapper: Mexican San Andres Binder: Honduran Maduro Corojo Filler: Brazilian, Dominican and Honduran long-filler maduro tobaccos First released in 2007, I acquired a cache in 2020 for HEMINGWAY and left them to age gracefully in the walk-in humidor. These are a full-bodied cigar, made in Honduras for Camacho (a part of the Davidoff empire). The use of three distinct differing maduro wrappers is why the line has the name "Triple Maduro" and this is quite a unique blend. With clouds of white smoke full of earthy flavours, producing a remarkable aroma laced with unsweetened cocoa and coffee on a long finish - these are a fantastic, full-bodied cigar. ( plenty more in stock )

Crowned Heads Tennessee Waltz (2022)

Origin: Nicaragua (My Father Cigars) Wrapper: USA Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro Binder: Nicaraguan Filler: Nicaraguan long-filler Part of the Crowned Heads regional releases; the Tennessee Waltz is an exclusive Tennessee regional release; made by My Father Cigars in Nicaragua. They have not been released since 2019 due to a lack of quality USA Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper. Bold, but medium-bodied; the cigar produces a meaty complex nuance of leather, citrus and wheat flavours. ( there might be a handful of these leftover if you wish to add some more to your collection / email us )

Foundation Olmec Maduro Toro

Origin: Nicaragua (A.J. Fernandez) Wrapper: Mexican San Andres Maduro Binder: Nicaraguan Filler: Nicaraguan long-filler (Jalapa & Esteli) Another Nic'R'Agua (Nicholas Melillo) stand-out cigar! Have smoked a number of these (you know, Quality Assurance); they are divine!! We've been waiting for these for a very long time, I am glad we finally got them in. The tobaccos used have been bale-aged for a minimum of 3-years; they were rolled a full year prior to release sitting in the large aging room at A.J. Fernandez's San Lotano factory.
